For the Record

I finally turned on my heat last night, November 18th. Made it pretty far, eh?

The little bit of shivering was starting to increase and it was pretty hard to choose playing with the kitties studying over being curled up in the fetal position.

Let there be heat!

What A Gift

I got an e-mail from a friend the other day that was pretty much what I’ve been waiting for my whole life the best e-mail ever. You see, right now, I have severe shin splints/a swollen tibia/possible stress fracture, and thus have a lovely, very cumbersome, Aircast on my leg. Let's see if I've properly captured this on film. Ah yes, here's your visual:

Anyway, this sweet woman basically just sent me an e-mail that said "I know it sucks, so feel free to vent about it to me!"

How often does that happen?

"Reagan, please gripe and moan, and I will listen willingly and patiently."

Never. But don't think that stops me from whining. ;)

The Future (of Decor) is Here!

This company is too cool!!!

They make portraits out of your dna, your kiss, and your fingerprints!! Here are my faves (really love the "his and hers" portraits over the bed...)

It's Already Caturday!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past month, then you know that I have adopted the best kitties in the world, Latte and Gatsby. :) Gatsby in particular has been a little ham, such a lover boy. Here are two clips of his antics:

Makin' biscuits on Daddy:

And here he is reallllllly enjoying his new scratching post/box:

Glasses

Oh. My. God. The horror of it all!

I was watching some tv the other night....Well, more accurately, I was watching episodes of LOST on DVD as I am helplessly addicted and also catching up before the next season starts. And I don't have cable this year. Law student loans. Enough said.
Annnnnyway, I was wearing my glasses so that the characters would have faces and the trees would have a leaves and all of that. Then, I made the mistake of going into my kitchen to get some ice cream. Oh no, the ice cream was not the mistake. Now that's always a good idea. And so are the sprinkles. The mistake was having perfect vision and looking down at my kitchen floor.

I let out an audible shriek!

Dirty. That's a capital D.

I'm kind of a clean freak and have often spent Friday nights vacuuming. But these days, with the semester winding up, new cats to be played with, and a boyfriend to be visited, my apartment has, well, suffered. I haven't cleaned my apartment since October 3rd, when I scrubbed it from top to bottom to host my lovely 80s party. Cue the awesome music and check out the outfit:

But I digress. Conclusion? The apartment will be cleaned sometime soon. Very soon. Or I just won't wear my glasses.

Back in the Saddle

Oh, I am so happy to be blogging again!!

I have recently stumbled upon some new (to me) blogs (www.cakewrecks.blogspot.com and www.dailycoyote.net) that I have thoroughly enjoyed. What's more, they have reminded me of the joys of blogging and babbling to no one. :)

Blogging about my travels this past summer (www.reaganroundtheworld.blogspot.com) was just too fun, so now I'm back!

I'm trying to think of my vision for this blog. I usually have trouble writing publicly, always envisioning a certain audience, a certain person, and censoring myself. I will try to be freer this time. And just me. So strap yourself in and get ready for some serious doses of Reagan. :)
