Guess I'm going for a blogging record today!
Here are some videos from the snow day:
Royal's frantic efforts to get outside:
And here he is playing in the snow, much to his delight (Not a very good video, and please don't listen to then audio in this video! I'm trying to talk on the phone to my mom as RightHand yells at me about the heat being on- oh, marriage will be fun!):

Update
As I was getting ready for bed last night, I thought about my snow day to-do list that I posted here.
It was so... adult. Yuck.
So, I vowed to run and frolic in the snow with RightHand during the following day (today).
Well, the best laid plans of mice and Reagan and all of that... It didn't happen. There were very few people out, it was cold as heck, my "snow stuff" is at my mom's house (if it even fits! Most is from my childhood) and RightHand said the sleet stung when he went outside. I'm not stupid. Or at least that stupid. Plus, going outside requires donning clothing, and my robe and pjs were really working for me. :)
So, maybe the childhood whimsy will return another day. Or maybe that's why we have kids... motivation. Bet you never heard that before, eh?
Let's revisit that list, with updates in blue:
1. LOTS of bar studying- Check! (Though not quite all I wanted to get done)
2. Blog about wedding decisions we have recently (and not-so-recently...) made- As you can see, no check!
3. Organize photos on the computer- Check! (This felt so good! And will hopefully lead to some upcoming blogs with some coherence!)
4. Put away the Christmas decorations (though leaving the winter-themed ones out!)- Check! (Even got RightHand to help for 2 seconds- double check!)
5. Clean the rabbit's cage, the poor thing!! No Check :(
It's charming that I document the neglect of the bunny, right?
Tomorrow looks like another snow day, so here's to getting the rest of it done!

THOSE People
"Stay off the roads!"
"Roads unsafe!!"
You've always wondered who ignored those warnings, right?
Well, we are those people.
RightHand is in a new (and better!) position at work, and had conference calls coming up and e-mails to be answered... so we trekked to his office to rescue his work laptop.
Thought you might want a view of the icy ghost town:

The Snow!
After last night's blog post, I keep checking for the horrendous weather to start. Something, anything!
I fiddled around on the computer some more, brushed my teeth, and RightHand told me to come out on our balcony.
In just an hour, it had become a winter wonderland:

Of course, I immediately wanted to show the furkids :)
Daisy wanted nothing to do with it, though she normally loves when it's cold outside...
Gatty was ready to go in and call PETA...
But Royal, oh Royal...
He loved the snow...
so
very
much...
(Who can resist snowy paw prints?? Awwww!)
...And spent the rest of the night trying to go back outside!
While Gatsby and Latte sat around and judged him.
Our apartment complex's Zen courtyard
Once again, I have decorated, and the Gods have listened! ;)
Stayed tuned for an unwise adventure... I'll leave you with a hint. Here's RightHand's car, before...

A Happy Bunday!
I am so, so excited for all of the north GA schoolkids right about now: WINTER BUY YOUR BREAD AND MILK WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE STORM WATCH '11 is in full swing!
Yes, the South always freaks out about winter storms, but they are throwing some serious numbers out this time. They are measuring snow in INCHES, people, not number of flurries! ;)
Even though I don't have school or a 9-to-5 job to be canceled, and I am still hoping to make the most of my snow day, which I am writing here to keep myself accountable:

4. Put away the Christmas decorations (though leaving the winter-themed ones out!)
5. Clean the rabbit's cage, the poor thing!!
Speaking of that wascally wabbit (and soon to be snow bunny, har har), here she is perched on our kitchen table:

Why? BECAUSE SHE CAN, DAMMIT. (Or I assume that's what she's thinking, anyway.) Don't worry, we'll scrub it before you come for dinner ;) (Also, bonus points for spotting the shy calico!)
Stay warm!

Happy Caturday!
It's been wayyy too long since I talked about my furkids! (Hey! I can hear you groaning from here, y'know!!).
Today was a great day- late morning wake-up, invigorating run, wedding planning progress, and fun friend birthday dinner.
But let's remember what's really important:
And that he earned his nickname "Long Arm of the Law" ;)
(Oh my Lord it is SO hard to take a picture of a black cat!!
Canon Rebel for Reagan, anyone?)

That Royal loves his mommy
(Found out I'm allergic to cats. No joke.
Is this what the allergist meant when he said to get rid of the cats??)

Friday Fotos
Friday Fotos- on Friday!!! I had a seriously, seriously good week this week, and I hope you all did, too! Here are my favorite photos from this week (go here to pick yours):
What a boat!
Always so interesting to look at daily lives in other cultures.
What a cool perspective!
Had to include this one. For those of you who don't know, I used to ride often, and even had my own horse for awhile. I miss it so, so much. Feel incomplete without. Will get back into it one day. You know, when I have the time and money (ha!). No, seriously, it will happen, because I'll die otherwise!
At first I thought this woman was behind a tangled net or something but no, a spider web! Oh, Mother Nature and her beauty!
