Happy Belated Bunday!
Here I went and posted on a Sunday and forgot to wish everyone a Happy Bunday!!
I try to limit my trips to the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom etc. whileblogging studying because, yes, it interrupts my concentration, but I am also bound to lose my seat:

Belated Friday Fotos
Man! I still have the best intentions of posting on time, and then weddings, drama, naps...the whole nine yards! :)
Well, anyway, here are my favorites from last week (there are a lot!) (and you can go here to pick yours):
Wow, this picture is amazing. I've always been fascinated by the sun, since I was little. Well, that's mainly because I learned that it would burn up/put one day and that terrified my little worrying self (much like I would cry about trees being cut down before I'd fall asleep at night, and don't get me started on killer whales...), but still...
Who doesn't love this kind of photo?
I'm not overly in love with the photo itself, but the subject matter was just too fascinating to let it pass...
An animal lover through and through, I had to post this photo of a child hugging his dog after the earthquake in China
Wow- the heat distortion makes this photo into a Monet, and the accompanying blurb is quite interesting
Fascinated by this situation- looks like ridiculously hard work!

Favorite Things
Apparently I'm the last to know, but I've finally been introduced to an awesome site for t-shirts and graphics, Threadless. They are most known for their tees, but you can also get designs as art prints. They only do limited printings, but the site is constantly updated. Here are some of my favorite designs so far:
Thoughts on Earth Day
A few weeks ago, before an appointment at the student health center, a noticed something odd from my car in the parking lot... "What the heck is on that tree?" I thought, mainly because I don't wear my glasses often enough. :-p Of course, I had to inspect.
Signs About Town
A while back, there were a few signs/things around town that caught my eye. Just wanted to share. :)
The sign reads: Seriously... y'all still litter? Time to change your ways.
I thought it was an effective billboard, and it's pretty rare to see local environmental awareness in the South. (I think this was by Keep Athens Beautiful)

Losing My Religion
Today was my last day of classes. Ever.
I've been a bit melancholy all day. (Okay, except for the lunch that involved wine and catching up and chatting and laughing with a good friend... :)
But I've been thinking about my school/academic career. From the first day of kindergarten when I wet my pants (true story- can you imagine the trauma? For me and my poor worried mom...) to today, the last moments of Children and the Law with one of the most demanding professors I've ever encountered.
Skipping onto the school bus, reading late into the night, practicing my violin, reciting presentations for my mom, writing countless papers, dreading my french oral exam, anticipating field trips...the great school system I began in, the award ceremonies that let me know I was doing a good job, the trips to Wal-Mart where I could pick out a "treat" for good grades (I almost always chose books)... I think of all of the things that made me who I am, who I have always been: The Good Student.
And now, with tears in my eyes, gratefulness and memories in my heart, it is time to close this chapter. It is time to finish these finals, get that J.D., and keep moving forward. To be a lawyer, a wife, a mom...
It is time.

My Favorite Things
Alright, looks like this is going to become a regular feature because I'm so greedy sharing. :) Probably not going to put it on a certain day, as that tends to not always work for me (see all posts with "BELATED" in the title!).
So, as my fancy has been struck, check out...
These adorable laptop skins:

Obviously made just for me, as I only drink chai lattes (as far as coffee drinks go) and I fell in love with Portland this past summer :)

Adorable! And yes, who doesn't like kittens? Freaks.

And if you're still not reading Style Lush? Well, damn you and your self control!! :-p

And yes, I have overwhelming BABY FEVER!, but I also have logic, which tells me that a negative checking account balance and wee ones do not mix (God, I wish everyone used my logic...) In any case, I can still plan! Love these growth charts:
Happy Bunday!
Poor Daisy had not photos taken of her this week, so once again I offer pictures of her space being invaded when the family was all together:
Hope your Bunday was less barfy and naughty! ;)
